Loaves and Fishes wants to show the love of Jesus by providing food for the hungry, refuge for the weary and comfort for the broken hearted. Our priorities are building self esteem and confidence, providing a listening ear and prayer for the desperate. Our ultimate goal is to share Jesus, the greatest gift of all.

With another hugely successful season come and gone we at Loaves and Fishes would like to raise our hats and give a huge “THANK YOU” to all our volunteers who so faithfully donated their time and efforts to making what we do at Loaves and Fishes possible.
First is the School Lunch Program which was a huge success. This endeavour included making up sandwiches, doing up and labeling lunch bags, and delivering them to each individual school. To all our cookie makers (for treats) from different Church Groups, School groups and private individuals, “THANK YOU”.
To all the volunteers who come and serve meals and visit with our guests, including the volunteers behind the scenes helping in the kitchen and any other areas where we might need help we raise our hats! “THANK YOU”
As well, to all our donors and partners, we say “THANK YOU” for your faithfulness to Loaves and Fishes.
Without all of your joining with us it would be impossible, but together we are making a difference in our community and proving the heart of compassion that the people of Red Deer have always had for the less fortunate.
God Bless you all for your dedication to this worthwhile cause and looking forward to your continued support of this Ministry.

I work for Loaves and Fishes in the office and I love it. It is very positive to see help going to the people who need it so much.I was on the recieving end of help in the past and it feels incredible to be on the other side. My first hamper hug made me feel so special, it is a feeling everyone should experience!
Though the selflessness of others and the hard work of our volenteers we hope to continue our mission now and in the future.
