WELCOME TO RED DEER LOAVES AND FISHES NEW WEBSITE
Loaves and Fishes wants to show the love of Jesus by providing food for the hungry, refuge for the weary and comfort for the broken hearted. Our priorities are building self esteem and confidence, providing a listening ear and prayer for the desperate. Our ultimate goal is to share Jesus, the greatest gift of all.

We are still in need of volunteers to make nut free cookies. We now make 139 school lunches every day and the cookies go very quickly. If you are interested please call Emily at 403-342-6602 or email her at ehillis@shaw.ca . Thank you to all who are now baking cookies and volunteering their valuable time and supplies to help children have a treat in their lunch bags.
3RD ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BANQUET
We are now preparing for our 3rd Annual Christmas Banquet at the Capri Centre on Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 2-5 PM. Last year we served 500 people and we are looking to feed approximately 1000 people. We will be needing volunteers to help us serve the meals, meet our guests, clean up and other tasks. If you are interested please contact us on our email, loavefishes@shaw.ca or call Christine at 403-347-1844 as soon as possible. One of the other needs we have is food for the banquet. The following is our Food List:

Romain Lettuce Napkins Styrofoam Cups Plastic Glasses
At the Banquet we will also be handing out sets of Touques, Mitts and Scarves. If you would like to volunteer to make these sets and donate them to this cause, please call Melinda or Christine at 403-347-1844.
